EAST END FOODS

On the 8th November 2013 Typhoon Haiyan struck the Philippines. At over 300 miles wide it caused unprecedented devastation to the islands and was one of the most intense tropical storms to ever make landfall anywhere in the world. Millions of people have been affected and still need help with the basics we all take for granted.

East End Food approached us to create an identity for an event to raise money to help with this appeal on

behalf of DEC (Disasters Emergency Committee).

The key visual was an orchid (Euanthe

Sanderiana) which is the national

flower of The Philippines and

decorating the top petals was the

map of The Philippines.
